Evening/ Weekend Pet Sitter

Professional Pet Sitter- Pittsburgh East End

Part Time:

2-4 shifts per week.
Evenings:
Shifts are short- typically 2-4 hours between 4-10 pm.

Weekends:
Shifts may vary seasonally- typically 2-6 hours, can be morning, midday, or evening depending on your availability.

This is a great supplement to another job, or a good fit for someone with the right experience who wants to work part time. Schedule and hours will vary from week to week.

We are currently looking for someone who:

• Is available to care for dogs, cats and other small animals, primarily on evening and weekends.
• ls comfortable travelling to clients' homes to care for animals- people are usually at work or out of town when we come, but sometimes our clients are working from home.
• Is able to walk one or two dogs (from the same household) at a time (no pack walks!).
• Care for the animals at the client's home- including changing water, cleaning litter boxes, giving treats, cleaning messes, sometimes feeding meals, bringing in packages, cuddles, playtime, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and registered/insured reliable transportation.
• Live in or near our service area, Pittsburgh's East End, or be able to commute to this area.
• Pass a background check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Because we invest heavily in our team members, we are looking for people who can commit to this position for at least one year from time of hire.
• Must have smartphone with internet and camera to access our apps, along with the data needed to function.
• Must be comfortable around dogs and cats of all sizes.'
• Be able to follow detailed instructions so that we can provide the very best animal care.
• Must successfully complete training and be able to work independently.
• Must be available to work on some holidays- we are open for business 365 days per year. Get paid extra for holiday work!

*If you have professional experience working with animals in a shelter/ kennel/ veterinarian office (or similar), we are offering a $150 sign on bonus! To qualify, you must be comfortable with and capable of administering medication to animals. Bonus is paid $75 at 60 & 90 days.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
