If you have a passion for working with children, are dedicated to providing the best education and care to your students, work collaboratively, and want to learn and grow, we want you to be a part of our team.RESPONSIBILITIES : Serve as a positive role model to the student-athletes and parentsTeach skills through effectively planned practices at a level appropriate for each member of the teamCondition athletes appropriately for activities requiring endurance, strength, and agilityResponsible for all aspects of directing the team’s practice and play in matchesTeach sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, and responsibility to one’s teamMonitor players’ attendance and conduct during practice and matchesMaintain an open line of communication with students, parents, peers, and Athletics management.Ensure schedules are communicated, rosters are kept up-to-date, and students are accounted for (e.g. coordinate with team parents and parent drivers, students ready for bus departure, remain with students until picked up)Prioritize an environment of safety for our student-athletesManage equipment.Performs other duties as requiredESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent preferred.Previous coaching experience required.Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work well with children of various ages To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
