Your Mission as a Production Manager:
Direct product flow, guide inventory processes, lead a passionate team, and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Streamline Operations: Oversee diverse departments, including warehousing, production, quality, and distribution, ensuring they work cohesively.
- Team Leadership: Handle recruitment, training, performance assessments, and growth opportunities. Develop, motivate, and ensure team cohesion.
- Drive Innovation: Initiate and lead the adoption of new manufacturing initiatives that incorporate best practices, resource allocation, and efficiency.
- Safety First: Prioritize a safe and healthy work environment by upholding and monitoring safety policies and procedures.
- Technological Prowess: Employ the ERP system effectively to monitor product and material flows meticulously.
- Inventory Control: Adjust production to maintain optimal storage levels. Reduce costs with just-in-time product completions and oversee product flow throughout the distribution facility.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update production techniques, initiate time studies, and adapt based on outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure company standards are maintained. Address and manage quality issues proactively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports by collating, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data.
- Professional Development: Keep abreast of industry trends, participate in workshops, and foster connections in professional societies.
