Qualifications
No Degree required, High School Diploma or equivalent with 6-months-1-year supervisory experience is preferred. Must be able to read simple signage and instructions, lift various weights repetitively, stand for extended periods and tolerate extreme temperatures.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Ensure time records are accurate and turned in timely to the head office.
- Ensure all staff required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Direct staff as to daily functions.
- Provide corrective actions as needed.
- Perform cleaning of various types at assigned site.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and commuters.
- Respond to metro calls fro train clean-ups.
- Assist with basic janitorial duties at the site.
- Covers staff shifts as needed with by calling in another staff person or covering the shift themselves.
- Responds to problems outlined by the vendor.
- Report all problems and/or vendor issues to the head office and/or direct supervisor.
- Ensures staff are performing their assigned duties accurately and effectively.
- Ensures staff are in their assigned work areas.
- Operate company vehicles as assigned and ensure no unauthorized usage of agency property including agency vehicles (no unauthorized persons in agency vehicles).
- Other duties as assigned.
