Job Summary:
The Learning & Development Specialist designs, develops, delivers, and manages effective learning programs across multiple platforms. This role combines instructional design, facilitation, performance improvement, and program management to support employee development in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver effective training programs across virtual, in-person, and self-paced platforms
- Create engaging instructional materials, including lesson plans, guides, and multimedia content
- Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) to build impactful learning experiences
- Manage and administer Learning Management Systems (LMS), including content and user management
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Support employee onboarding, train-the-trainer programs, and subject matter expert development
- Drive performance improvement through targeted training, coaching, and performance support tools
- Lead or support training-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and organized execution
- Foster a learner-centric environment that promotes engagement, growth, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate effectively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in training & development
- Experience with LMS administration and content authoring tools
- Defined facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in instructional design or project management
- Examples of change management and communication planning
