Are you ready to bring aquatic magic to life? Mertailor’s Mermaid Aquarium Encounter is looking for Underwater Performers to join our dynamic team. This is your chance to turn your love for water into a one-of-a-kind career—no prior mermaid or performance experience required!
What You’ll Do
As an Underwater Performer, you’ll captivate guests both in and out of the water by:
- Performing graceful underwater ballet movements during live aquatic shows.
- Showcasing comfort and confidence while swimming alongside marine life.
- Engaging with guests by sharing fun facts and educational information about our exhibits and animals.
- Creating magical, memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.
- Assisting with guest relations, gift shop duties, and special events to enhance the guest experience.
- Thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity and communication are key.
What We’re Looking For
We want passionate, adaptable individuals who love the water and enjoy connecting with people. Ideal candidates will:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be comfortable working underwater for extended periods (with training provided).
- Have strong swimming skills and the ability to hold your breath comfortably.
- Be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week, typically from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Bring a positive attitude, flexibility, and strong communication skills to the team.
- No previous mermaid or performance experience is required—SCUBA certification is a bonus!
