Luxury Retail Sales, Optical – Mertins Eye & Optical, Ledger Building, Bentonville.
Mertins Eye & Optical has expanded into Benton County is looking for career-focused team members to work in Bentonville and Fayetteville. Applicant should be a self-starter, have very strong attention to detail, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. A history or evidence of strong luxury retail sales experience is required, but we do not require any prior optical or medical clinic experience. We provide extensive training for all team members.
We are a well-established clinic and optical boutique and are known for providing state-of-the-art eye care, premium and luxury eyewear, and friendly, exceptional customer service. Dr. Mertins sees patients of all ages and all eyecare needs and has developed a following for her expertise in contact lenses and the treatment of dry eye disease.
We have the South's best collection of premium, handcrafted frames and sunglasses from small independent companies and luxury brands. We are the exclusive provider in Arkansas for most of the brands we carry.
Job duties include helping patients and eyewear customers select glasses/sunglasses, scheduling exams and appointments, ordering eyewear and contact lenses, customer service, and marketing. Everyone on the team is cross-trained and works together to ensure we exceed the expectations of our patients and eyewear clients.
Dr. Mertins holds herself and her team to a high level of professionalism and performance, and is looking for someone interested in a long-term career and an opportunity to shine. The starting rate of pay is guaranteed, but we hope (and expect) everyone on our team to earn substantially more through his or her ability to sell eyewear, create long-term relationships with patients and eyewear customers, provide world-class customer service, and grow our brand in NWA.
