ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- The Food Server serves meals to guests in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
- Take food & beverage orders from restaurant customers.
- Input orders in to POS system.
- Deliver orders following required standards for the position.
- Prepare tableside items as requested by customer; anticipate guest’s needs.
- Complete all side work including but not limited to: wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc.
- Polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, etc. in order to prepare tables and stations. Breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant.
- Explain menu to the guests. Always check on quality of food and service.
- Interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Food service experience in or related experience a plus.
- Knowledge of wine.
- Cocktail experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills using the English language required.
- AES card required.
