The legendary 95.5 KLOS is looking for a Music and Comedy Show Host!
Job Qualifications & Duties :
- Host will possess experience and demonstrated success as a proven stand-up comedian and radio host, and will host a two-hour, pre-recorded Music & Comedy show on KLOS each Sunday night from 10p-12a.
- Host and the show's Producer will collaborate each week to book celebrity guests for the show (comedians, athletes, artists, politicians, influencers, etc.).
- Host and the show's Producer will collaborate each week to edit the show's audio and video content and then providing it to the KLOS programming department for broadcast.
- Host will be required to following the talk, music and commercial stopset clocks provided by KLOS.
- Host will be required to read necessary sponsor copy for the show, along with pertinent KLOS copy that is supplied each week.
- Host will be required to voice commercial endorsement spots for the show's sponsors.
- Host will be required to host / emcee a monthly 2 hour live (non-broadcast) comedy show at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood.
- Host will assist The Laugh Factory in booking the monthly live comedy show in Hollywood.
- Host is required to follow all FCC rules and guidelines for broadcasting.
- Host will possess a thorough understanding of how to work all the necessary equipment found in a professional radio studio, including mics, lights, sound board, recording equipment.
