ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Receive and prioritize incoming calls from various sources, including emergency services, guests, and internal staff.
· Gather relevant information from callers to assess the nature of the situation and determine appropriate response.
· Dispatch appropriate personnel, such as law enforcement officers or service technicians, to designated locations.
· Maintain accurate records of all calls received and actions taken.
· Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify potential security threats or incidents.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient coordination of resources.
· Provide clear and concise instructions to field personnel regarding assignments and priorities
· Utilize computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and other software applications to document incidents and generate reports.
· Handle escalated calls or complaints with professionalism and effective conflict management techniques.
· Train new hires.
· Assist the Dispatch Manager with administrative tasks such as scheduling, researching calls, and updating SOPs.
· Act as liaison when the Dispatch Manager is not on property.
· Be willing and able to fill in on shifts when short due to call outs or PTO requests.
· Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Knowledge of report writing procedures and practices.
· Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and practices and department policies and procedures.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in computer systems including CAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
· Effective conflict management skills.
· Ability of simple math and complex reading, writing, and task completion skills is required.
· Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
· Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Previous experience in dispatching, loss prevention, or surveillance is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
· Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be constantly sitting, standing, occasionally walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, climbing and balancing during the duration of their shift.
· Team member must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 75lbs occasionally.
· The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require frequent light and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
· Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Work performed frequently indoors alone or with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other electrical devices.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
· Team Member may be exposed to fumes/odor and/or secondhand smoke.
