Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Description
Manages a substantial segment of all supply chain planning analyst duties and actives for a full-service provider of global manufacturing and supply chain management services for North American OEMs; and, possesses these key competencies: supply chain management; supply chain internationalization; international business fundamentals; foreign market entry strategies; organizing across countries; analyzing global industries; building competitive advantage in global industries; and the influence of culture and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Independently manages and authorizes the procurement of an assigned parts catalogue inventory currently valued in excess of $20 million (USD) annually;
· Serves as the corporate headquarters expert on supply chain practices globally and directs the supply chain activities of corporate personnel in various global regions;
· Directs resources of the company to facilitate timely, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain fulfillment of customer demand by reconciling upstream planning with downstream forecasting, supplier manufacturing, satisfying customer orders fulfillment, and meeting corporate management inventory targets.
· Employs project management and program evaluation skills to build evaluative methodologies, models, tools, and prepares performance improvement schedules and supply chain process reviews to track and measure supply chain planning execution with performance, customer specific measures, and supply chain estimates.
· Prepares customer specific planning assessments and estimates employing weighted and moving weighted averaging, simple and Holt’s exponential smoothing, and Holt-Croston methodologies;
· Conducts daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc supply chain performance, efficiency, and effectiveness analyses;
· Conducts corporate supply chain data compilation and validation for entry into the corporate network data repositories;
· Conducts standard practice and management directed ad hoc supply chain incident analyses and briefs results to corporate management;
· Performs supply chain advisory and consultation in direct support of the supply chain planning digitizing;
· Creates and implements corporate inventory policy and rules for parts based on orders, availability, possible disruptions and target Inventory.
Required Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management or equivalency;
- 5 years minimum experience or equivalency with end-to-end supply chain theory and practice to include logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in-time, materials requirement planning);
- strong quantitative and analytical skills; expert Microsoft Excel skills or equivalency;
- Full working experience with SAP software;
- Broad range of computer skills—database, spreadsheet, statistics applications and statistical analyses, and logistics software packages; understand international contracts and tariffs; expert ability to communicate findings, issue directives and make recommendations; and facilitate change; and, project management skills.

Pay: $70,162.00 - $80,053.00 per year
