Mesa Associates, Inc. seeks a sharp and dedicated candidate interested in providing high-quality Project Controls support to our Power Delivery Transmission and Distribution Business Unit. The successful candidate will assist other project control specialists and team members in monitoring progress, analyzing data, and providing insights to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Management and/or maintenance of all project management systems (ERP, Vault, Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Track and analyze project costs, progress, and variances.
- Use critical thinking to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare detailed portfolio/program/project documents, reports, and dashboards for internal and external clients.
- Support portfolio management and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete all project processes and resolve project challenges. Inclusive of vendor management and invoicing.
Education/Experience/Certifications:
- Associates or better in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, or Engineering
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience
- Strong organization and planning skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong Financial Acumen
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to collaborate and multi-task with clients and project team members at all levels.
- PMI certification in cost, scheduling or project management is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Power BI are highly desirable.
