SUMMARY : The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the district's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless systems, and cloud-based technologies. This role includes ensuring network security through cybersecurity measures, providing Tier III technical support, and maintaining accurate network documentation. The position also involves collaboration on technology projects and researching innovative solutions to improve system efficiency. At the senior level, responsibilities expand to overseeing network infrastructure design, leading advanced cybersecurity initiatives, managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance system reliability and performance.
