- Warehouse workers are responsible for receiving supply deliveries at the two main warehouses, verifying in-coming orders per purchase orders, checking for discrepancies and processing returns, if necessary. These employees work as a team unloading incoming delivery trucks, and following established storage procedures per District, state, and Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA) requirements. Warehouse workers are also the primary employees handling disbursements overseeing the District’s daily deliveries of all supplies and special orders throughout 45 sites. Overseeing the daily warehouse operations and monitoring regular supply stocks this employee is part of a team fulfilling electronic and paper order requests; verifying orders, boxing and marking all outgoing supply orders.
- In addition, internal mail processes require a twice daily pick-up and delivery cycle in order to service district sites. Using the Administrative complex mailroom employee performs both pick-up and delivery duties that includes internal documents as well as out-going US postal items. Employees tasked with internal mail deliveries must work collaboratively with the mailroom receptionist in order to communicate any delivery issues or scheduling changes that may affect staff.
- Employees are also assigned duties via internal work-orders. Duties under this responsibility includes the pick-up, moving, delivery, setting up and tearing down of a variety of items for instance; folding tables, folding chairs, pianos and risers per work orders. District events often require the pickup, transport, and unloading of band instruments, stands, chairs and miscellaneous equipment for concerts. Other transportable items may include transferring physical education gear including gymnastic equipment, bowling sets and physio balls from school to school. Note: Warehouse Workers hold an expectation to follow District lifting techniques and policies. Other work order delivery duties are centered around the pick-up, transport and disposal of out dated or excessive property.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse is a high expectation of this role. This employee is responsible for maintaining warehouse trucks, trailer, forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks for daily use. Note: Larger equipment and vehicle repair/ maintenance are processed through established District procedures.
- The pickup, storage, and disposal of the District’s Administrative long-term records is a part of this position. As directed and following human resources processes for financial, student and employee record storage this role may assist in this sensitive process.

- High school diploma or equivalent required*;
- Prior inventory logistics and/or warehouse experience preferred,
- (Acceptable education and experience credit equivalent will be at the sole discretion of the District).
- Criminal background check required for hire,
- Valid Colorado driver’s license required for hire,
- Operating knowledge of inventory ordering system within 90 days of hire,
- District small vehicle permit required within 30 days of hire,
- Commercial driver’s license (Class B) required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire;
- Must successfully pass 50# lifting test upon hire (recertification every three years)
- Forklift certification preferred at hire or required within 30 days of hire
- Attend and successfully complete all professional development training as required by law, or as directed by Supervisor.

SUMMARY: Operating under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor this position works within a warehouse team that is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing and maintaining the inventory of school supplies, food products, and purchased goods for all District administration and school sites. Working through established purchasing processes and calendar cycles warehouse staff perform duties through specific work orders and regularly scheduled deliveries. Duties include managing supplies based on expiration dates and first-in, first-out processes while assisting with annual and other regular inventory counts. Warehouse employees also perform duties related to the safe storage, disposal, and record keeping of products with OSHA regulatory oversite. Warehouse Workers may also be assigned responsibilities for the District’s twice-daily internal mail pick-up/delivery services. As a member of the Warehouse Workers crew this employee may be assigned a variety of duties as needed including the transportation and pick-up equipment for various District events.
