Job description

Mesa Detection Agency is hiring for Level I and Level II security guards to join our team on both day and night shifts. Full-time and Part-time schedules are available as well as optional overtime.

Your job will consist of conducting foot/or vehicle patrols to ensure the safety and security of everything on site. This is achieved by keeping a high visibility, having a good presence and ability to detect and deter crime while observing and reporting any/all activity on site.

Level I, II responsibilities

• Look for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly/regularly of property and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances/exits and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Requirements:

• Must 18 (Level I, or 21yrs for Level II)
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have transportation
• Must be able to demonstrate a stable work history
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
• *Must have a clean background check. NO felony convictions for anything dealing with theft, fraud or violence.

(Previous experience in contract security service, hospitality, military, or law enforcement preferred, but not required).
