Job Summary: Local Drivers are responsible for transporting customers belongings. Their primary objective will be to ensure the safe and timely delivery of items while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Transport materials and crew between office and industrial locations
- Load and unload materials
- Maintenance of company vehicles
- Keep records of deliveries and shipments
- Maintain safety and compliance by adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a timely, safe and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a local or delivery driver is preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather and road conditions.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 100 lbs. safely
- Able to stoop, stand, and reach overhead
- Exposed to all weather conditions
