Job Summary : The Warehouse Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility. Their role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. They play a key role in optimizing warehouse processes to meet customer demands and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records are maintained
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and retrieval of goods in the warehouse
- Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor warehouse operations and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and customer service, to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss
- Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory turnover and order fulfillment rates
