What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR RN - PART-TIME position at Mesa View Regional Hospital?
The Surgical Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of previous Surgery Nursing experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada. Current BLS, ALS, PALS required prior to start.
**Pay Range: $37.80 - $47.25 (depending on experience)**
