What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - ICU - PRN (As Needed) position at Mesa View Regional Hospital?
The ICU RN uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). He/she monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. In addition during high census times the RN maybe called upon to float to other departments to take patients. Cross training will be provided by Mesa View Regional Hospital as needed to meet the needs of the hospital and the patients. All other duties as assigned within the scope of Nursing practices.
Education: Associates Degree required. BSN preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada. BLS required. ACLS required. PALS required
**Pay range: $37.80 - $47.25 (depending on experience)**

Preferred- 2 year(s): Recent ICU Nursing experience preferred.
Education
Required- Associates or better in Nursing

Required- L-NV-RN License
