Job Summary
The MRI Technologist plays a crucial role in the Radiology Department, performing MRI procedures efficiently and accurately. They are also responsible for conducting quality control procedures specific to MRI, as well as accurately screening patients and providing care based on their evaluation.
In addition to these duties, the MRI Technologist may be required to provide coverage in other areas of the department as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures with precision and accuracy
- Conduct quality control procedures specific to MRI
- Accurately screen patients and provide care based on their evaluation
- Provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- One (1) year of experience in MRI
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- A.R.R.T. registered (or eligible)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Compensation: $35.38 - $44.22 per hour (dependent on experience)
