Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Green Officer, the Manager – Civil Engineering will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the design, logistics, and construction or repair of civil infrastructure projects.
- Lead and manage the civil engineering team including senior and junior level civil engineers and civil construction technicians.
- Lead and manage the tailings basin maintenance team.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and practices are observed.
- Responsible for a safe work environment for the team and closely coordinate with the Safety Manager.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of internal roads, utilities, stormwater systems, and other related infrastructure.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10 years in technical and managerial aspects of civil infrastructure projects.
- Ability to manage people and teams to achieve goals and objectives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent.
- MN licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Work to occur in an active industrial environment, including outside, requiring adaptation to changing seasonal conditions.
