We are looking to connect with a dedicated and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing, high-performing brokerage with a focus on quality over volume. ($1.6M revenue new business in 2024)
You as the Account Manager will handle primarily small group (35 lives) and a few mid-sized (up to 99 lives) accounts. This is a non-client-facing role with a team who is collaborative and free of micro-management - perfect for someone detail-oriented who thrives on operational excellence 😊
Key Responsibilities
- Full-scope management of a small to mid-sized group benefits book
- Handle renewals, quoting, and data input using HealthConnect
- Maintain up-to-date compliance and documentation (HIPAA, ACA, etc.)
- Serve as a go-to backend resource across a variety of carriers and plans
- Stay informed on industry trends, plan options, and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 3 years in Employee Benefits Account Management
- Strong understanding of small group benefits (35–99 lives)
- CA Licensed in Accident & Health Insurance (Required)
- Experience with HealthConnect or similar platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
