What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Mesilla Valley Transportation?
Controller needed for OEP Holdings Las Cruces, New Mexico to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
- Complete monthly reconciliation reports.
- Responsible for monthly and year-end accounting closing.
- Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll duties.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Report findings to management.
- Must have a bachelors degree in accounting and 5 years of overall progressive experience as an accountant which includes at least 2 yrs. of experience in the tasks listed above.
- Position requires working in the Las Cruces office.
