What Youll Do
- Act as the manager-on-duty when the Store Manager is off-duty, ensuring smooth store operations.
- Lead the sales floor, providing an elevated customer experience and driving sales.
- Oversee cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist in scheduling, team management, and shift delegation to ensure productivity.
- Train, mentor, and support staff to maintain high performance and morale.
- Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards to keep the store appealing.
- Manage inventory movement, including receiving shipments and conducting stock audits.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, providing guidance to staff when needed.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to complete operational tasks, including reporting and supply orders.
What Were Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and store operations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move easily throughout the store.
