STARTING RATE: $16.00MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 18 years old JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for checking guests in and out and booking appointments by phone and in person. Provide guests with help regarding any questions and reasonable requests with a customer service oriented personality.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The Spa Receptionist must have strong computer, typing, phone and verbal communication skills. This person must be able to work with a team and provide quality service to guests. This person must be detailed oriented and able to handle multiple tasks. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Required to work weekends, holidays and varied hours.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Check-in guests and give tour. Check-out guests using register.
Answer phones and book appointments.
Intake and display of retail products.
Maintain locker facilities; ensuring they are clean and well stocked.
Look up past transactions in register.
Revise tickets in order to add tip or reflect comp.
Make various spreadsheets when needed.
Knowledge of retail products and able to explain and sell.
Unpack, label, display and inventory retail.
Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS:
Excel in knowledge of special products for guest satisfaction.
Take initiative to assist team members with their duties.
Work extra shifts or hours when asked.
Contribute ideas or suggestions which improve the operation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Frequent exposure to natural, organic, or chemically produced products that encompasses all supplies used and stored at any given time in the Spa or Salon for services. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
