Messer Americas’ Graduate Development Program (GDP) immerses graduates, like you, into the broad world of industrial gases. This two-year program allows graduates to choose between one of five tracks (Operations, Commercial, Information Services, Finance, and Supply Chain Management). In each track you will learn about Messer’s business, develop your technical and business capabilities, and excel as a professional. Each 8-month rotation allows you to explore a new area of business as you relocate to different locations across America.
Candidates must be open to relocating anywhere in the US based on rotational needs; Messer offers a comprehensive relocation package to support in the relocation process. Popular locations include:

- City of Industry, CA

Commercial / Customer-Facing (Sales Engineering) Track: Allows participants to focus on value-added technologies. You may be involved in new product development, planning / executing technology installs at customer sites, or finding new customers and developing a more diverse customer base. Popular rotations include:
- Application Sales Engineering (ASE): Design, engineer and install solutions to meet a variety of customer needs. The Application Sales team has Program Managers and Applications Sales Engineers who are responsible for consulting with customers on challenges and identifying how Messer’s technologies can support their needs. Application Sales Engineers combine their engineering problem solving and business acumen to sell Messer’s portfolio of value-added, technology-based gas applications in collaboration with Account Managers
- Account Management: The five region Bulk sales teams’ mission is to drive profitable growth and revenue. Using the Messer Pro Sales Process, Account Managers (AMs) focus on bulk customers and related value-add technology and services. AMs have a deep understanding of the Messer Product and Service Offerings, industry trends, and specific territory dynamics, including the competitive landscape, with a strong passion to win.
- Markets Project Execution: Responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions safely, on time, and within budget. From solution development through investment approval, design, construction, commissioning, and handover, our team members are focused on execution excellence that delivers value for our customers and our company.
- Application Development: Responsible for the research, development, and commercialization of Product Service Offerings related to gases manufactured and sold by Messer Americas. The function is divided into three Market Segments: Food and Beverage; Chemicals, Environmental, and Energy; and Metals, Glass, and Industrial Markets

Qualifications:
Graduation date between December 2024 – June 2025
Major in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Integrated Business & Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Must be open to relocation anywhere in the US (Assistance Provided).
Must have ongoing authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Education
