What You Will Do
- Mentor and help grow craft workers
- Manage contract administration (subcontract/field management meeting for communication)
- Review, approve and negotiate change orders
- Maintain daily activities for record keeping purposes
- Oversee and approve the month job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
- Read and interpret single line diagrams, elementary drawings and P&ID’s
- Installation of raceways: Cable tray, Wire way and Rigid conduit
- Instrumentation and Control wiring and/or tubing.
- C1D1 and intrinsically safe wiring methods.
- Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment.
- Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others.
- 8 years of commercial and/or industrial construction experience (3 years in a foreman/leadership capacity)
- OSHA 10/30 Certified; If uncertified, must be obtained prior to start date (training and certification paid for by EGC)
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding procedure and software programs
- Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills.
- Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
- Possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities.
- Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50lbs., seeing and reading.
