We are currently seeking Safety Co-op to join the Messer team. This position supports Messer projects and personnel with safety responsibilities.

What You Will Do
- Pre-construction safety meetings
- Contractor safety orientations
- Weekly site safety inspections
- Research on safety topics
- Employee safety training
- Organize and lead project safety committee
- Track and identify trends
- Provide coverage for a Safety Coordinator when they are absent
- Tracking of safety equipment distributed to the job site
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management with a focus on Safety or a degree related to the safety field of work
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
