Position: Framing Superintendent
Requirements / Qualifications:
6 years in wood framing construction
Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment
Capable of reading and understanding drawings, blueprints and convey information to field personnel
Must show excellent leadership, communication and possess good time management skills
Critical thinker and problem-solver
English with some Spanish would be helpful
Have knowledge in construction safety, enforce OSHA requirements to ensure a safe worksite at all times, and conduct weekly safety meetings
Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
Any additional relevant certifications will be considered an advantage
TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, implement and oversee daily construction as noted in the schedule. Allocate and delegate responsibilities as needed. Provide feedback to field personnel.
Produce, manage and monitor work attendance of all field personnel to ensure project scope is completed within the scheduled outline.
Prepare and present the project progress to the Project Manager/Supervisor
Coordinate all site deliveries and equipment rental returns in a timely manner
Ensuring appropriate use of onsite equipment by all certified crew members.
Must present a professional presence for the company in weekly, on-site contractor meetings.
Work with General Contractors to deliver a productive, safe and a profitable project.
Compensation: Based on experience
Summary: Messer Construction is looking for an ambitious Foreman to supervise the framing of multi-family projects. This position would require the supervision of up to 30 workers, ensuring productivity, safety, and projects built in accordance with the drawings, plans and blueprints. Keep the project's scope within contract requirements and maintain professionalism throughout the project.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
