JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports customer needs and advances their global state of the art cutting systems. Collaborating with a group of talented engineers and technicians, you will work to support market leading advancements in cutting machine software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Sales and Service
- Answer technical questions in regard to software and PC hardware
- Perform remote software updates
- Prepare loaner PC and hard drive replacements
- Create software support tickets and follow up to resolve customer software issues

Support Manufacturing
- Configure and install software for cutting machines
- Keep hard drive images up to date
- Create and maintain WIKI articles related to job functions
- Exercise independent judgment and draw conclusions based upon available information

MINIMUM EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 year Software Degree or examples of coding experiences (e.g., code camps, classes, etc.)
- 1 years of experience in software and PC hardware support
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- CNC part programming
- Experience with Beckhoff hardware and software
- Ability to read schematics
- MS Office
- Strong problem-solving capability
- Self-starter, motivated to take on multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to collaborate with others
