Purpose of the position :
- Define project scope and objectives of instrumentation for Proposals and Capital Projects.
- Support conceptual design for production plants of air separation, CO2, O2, N2 and propose required instrumentation to optimize plant.
- Develop P&I drawings, data sheets, and specifications.
- Ensure recognized industry standards, safety standards, and various client specifications are followed and accounted for in design.
- Coordinate and review the basic and detail engineering.
- Prepare specifications for suppliers, as well as engineering and construction contractors to bid the design, construction, and commissioning of Capital Projects. Provide complete technical review of bid packages.
- Prepare turnover packages to operations including drawings, data sheets, training documents, etc.
- Coordinate and participate in plant construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Monitor project progress and KPIs and advise stakeholders of deviations
- Participate in HAZOPs and P&ID reviews.
- Bring knowledge and experience from plant operating environment to improve best designs and implement best practices.

Principal Responsibilities :
o This position is expected to be a team member supporting active projects, including :
Ability to select and specify instrumentation and analyzers.
Provide detailed drawing review and feedback to equipment OEM’s.
Execute critical supplier design audits of instrumentation, analyzers, and control systems.
Ability to follow project from specification process, through design and manufacture, construction and installation, commissioning, and resolution of field issues.
Develop, plan, and implement QA / QC plans related to instruments from initial design through implementation including final loop testing.
