Messiah Early Learning Center & Preschool is looking to hire candidates who will fill the rolls of Assistant Teachers to join our expanding team. We are a Christian Preschool that operates September - May, Monday - Friday and June - August, Monday - Thursday. We are currently looking to employ an individual to fill a part time Assistant Teaching position we have available. Messiah Early Learning Center & Preschool has been a part of the Mounds View community for 50 years. In the Fall of 2024 Messiah will be expanding and adding an infant & toddler classroom to our program. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher & Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lead teachers and helping our little ones develop essential skills during the early stages of their development.

Assistant Teacher (Infant & Toddler)
Our staff are the heart of our program. We are looking for someone who will be able to create a safe, nurturing environment for our students, and be able to work with our current staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to grow and learn
- Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, diaper changing, and naptime routines
- Monitor and document children's progress and development
- Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members
- Follow standardized operating procedures to provide a quality care experience for each child
