Position Description
Position Summary
This person will supervise undergraduate and/or graduate students in school-based field placements. Supervision will likely include the use of distance technology.
Responsibilities
Attend on-campus or virtual orientation sessions.
Conduct observations and evaluations and provide detailed constructive feedback for all assigned field experience students.
Provide information, evaluation data, and feedback to the TEP office.
Collaborate with school-based personnel to support field experience students.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Education
Teaching Certification specializing in Special Education, Urban Education, or Secondary Education
Experience supervising students in field placements or classroom teachers preferred

The Program
The Teacher Education Program is an umbrella program that oversees all teacher preparation programs and students at Messiah University.
Supervisors may also report to the Graduate Program in Education.

The Teacher Education Program works collaboratively with the Education Department to deliver teacher preparation programs to students.
