Seeking a Customer Service Rep to provide efficient sample receiving, processing, and client communication services for an analytical testing laboratory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while supporting the company's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process client samples from receipt to LIMS entry, verifying information accuracy and generating unique sample IDs
- Communicate with clients regarding sample status while maintaining confidentiality
- Generate price quotes and coordinate with Accounting on client billing
- Coordinate sample shipments to third-party laboratories as needed
- Address client inquiries about services and turnaround times, escalating complex issues appropriately
- Maintain detailed records of client communications and sample tracking
- Propose improvements to customer service processes for efficiency and quality
- Obtain and maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing services
- Support other customer service functions as needed
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma with 6 months office or laboratory experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Administrative experience and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and emotional intelligence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Science/food testing background
- Experience with LIMS or laboratory software
- Crystal report writing skills
- International business experience
