Firmware Engineering Technician
We are seeking a skilled Firmware Engineering Technician with hands-on experience in updating device firmware on devices that use microcontrollers. This role is critical to ensuring products are up-to-date and functioning at peak performance.
Firmware Engineering Technician - Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Firmware Updating : Proficiency in updating device firmware on devices that use microcontrollers.
- Bus Protocols : In-depth knowledge of bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and SDIO is highly desirable.
- Soldering : Strong soldering skills are required for precise and reliable connections.
- Cable Building : Experience in building various types of cables, particularly for data collection, is highly desirable.
- Circuit Debugging : Proficiency in debugging microcontroller-based circuitry is essential.
- Networking Protocols : Familiarity with networking protocols, especially those unique to wireless communications, is desirable.
- Embedded Hardware : A solid understanding of embedded hardware, including digital, analog, and RF components, is preferred.
- Focus and Efficiency : Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight and aggressive timelines.
