Scope of Position : Will be a creative, self-motivated individual with a keen visual sense and passion for good design. The designer will work with multi-disciplinary teams, which will involve observing, listening, researching and brainstorming. The designer will experience the innovation process of projects in many different mediums, and it is the designer's role to communicate ideas in the form of presentations, web media, print media and prototypes. Ideas will be communicated clearly and effectively, verbally and visually, internally as well as externally with attention to detail. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, with the possibility of working after hours.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standardsAbility to create high quality designs for multiple pieces per projectsDemonstrate the ability to lead a project from conception to printAbility to create high quality designs for mail-out piecesConfer with supervisor and clients in developing materials for projectsConfer with supervisor concerning designs for print mediaManage brand design consistencyTranslate strategic objectives into design elementsWorking knowledge of composition, components and conceptsAbility to generate new and original ideas within the parameters of stated objectivesExcellent internal / external working relationsDemonstrate excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detailAbility to make subjective decisions regarding subject matter and projectsExcellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS and production skillsManage file archiving by brand and document typeManage archiving of all digital assetsPerforms other similar or related duties as required or requestedPosition Requirements : The Graphic Designer must possess the minimum knowledge listed below : Bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, or related fieldThree to five (3-5) years of experience working in a creative atmosphere.Must be able to produce a recent portfolioAbility to work well under pressure, multitask and meet strict deadlinesAbility to work well with all levels of staffMust have a working knowledge of and MAC operating systems, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative SuiteAbility to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
