Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor (LPN) to lead our nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and ensure adherence to established protocols and best practices.
- Conduct staff training sessions on clinical procedures and updates in healthcare regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing activities and patient records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Address patient and family concerns promptly while promoting a positive patient experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a critical care or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
- Strong clinical skills including but not limited to gastric lavage, catheterization, dialysis, ventilation, venipuncture, and phlebotomy.
- In-depth knowledge of physiology and nursing management principles.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
