Met-Con, Inc., a rapidly growing structural steel fabrication and erection company, is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for our Cocoa, Florida location. Job Description:
The Machine Operator will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining one or more of the following CNC Machines: Plasma Burn Table, Water Jet, Drill Line, Angle Line, Shear, Press Brake, Plate Processor. A successful candidate will need to be organized, and work independently, with multi-tasking skills. The Machine Operator will need to handle multiple projects and communicate with others on the team.
General Requirements:
- 1 year experience with CNC downloads
- Understanding of shop drawings/blueprints
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions
- Must use common measuring devices (tape measure, etc)
- Work as part of a team to ensure achievement of Company goals.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver License

Pay range is $20 - $28 an hour, depending on experience.
