What it's like to be a Steel Detailer

As a Steel Detailer at Met-Con, Inc., you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and models of steel structures, ensuring accurate measurements, and collaborating with architects and engineers to bring designs to life. Your keen eye for detail and ability to think critically will be put to the test as you analyze and interpret complex blueprints. In this role, you can anticipate working in a fast-paced environment, where deadlines and project timelines are crucial. You will have the opportunity to showcase your problem-solving skills as you troubleshoot design issues and provide innovative solutions.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of our construction projects, making you an integral part of our team. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with occasional after-hours work as needed to meet project deadlines.
