Description
We are seeking a caring and detail-oriented individual to join our team at MET, Inc. as a childcare professional. In this role, you will be responsible for providing supervision and support to children in an assigned classroom.
Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting with daily activities such as mealtimes, bathroom breaks, and playtime.
- Preparing children for dismissal and ensuring their safe departure from the facility.
- Participating in in-service trainings and meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities and qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree in social work or Head Start experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage stress effectively.
- Physical stamina to engage in strenuous activity and lift up to 50 pounds.
