Job description
MET Manufacturing Group (MET) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team.
MET is a full service, contract manufacturer specializing in precision fabrication using photochemical etching, waterjet cutting, and other value-added fabrication processes. MET has a wide and diverse range of products and services with customers in the automotive, aerospace, military, electronics, telecommunications, medical equipment, and many others.
Responsibilities:
This role would require a “boots on the ground” focus throughout the entire manufacturing process and shop floor at MET Manufacturing.
The individual would perform daily inspections on in-process jobs, and work with MET operators to help set up, dial in, check, and measure products to customer requirements.
The individual would audit production processes and report the findings back to the QC manager.
The Quality Inspector would train operators in inspection techniques, operating system data entry, and job compliance.
The Quality Inspector would cross-train to do final QC sampling inspections to help overall QC capacity.
Ensures compliance with standards,
Assists in planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management systems.
Implements appropriate quality measures and complies with safety regulations.
Identifies issues and recommends solutions.
This position would report directly to the Quality Manager.
Role Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience.
Must have a record of success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 requirements.
Experience with Keyence IM vision systems, XM, WM CMM systems, and VHX digital microscopes is preferred.
Experience with reading blueprints.
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and enthusiastic.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Competent in the use of personal computers, software, and systems.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
