RN Dialysis

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Dialysis to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of dialysis procedures, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions as per established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, care standards, and health coaching techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform emergency interventions as needed, including airway management and gastric lavage.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Provide support for patients with acute care needs in a home community care setting.

Experience

• Dialysis RN: 1 year dialysis experience.
• Must have experience with inpatient AND outpatient HD.
• MUST HAVE competency with both acute and chronic HD patients.
• On call required: Call period is one week or 120 hours, maybe on call 2 weeks in a 13 week rotation.
• BLS required.
• EMR: Epic.
• Tablo Dialysis Machines used. Prior travel experience preferred.

Pay: $2,253.00 - $2,337.00 per week
