Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Dialysis to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dialysis procedures, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Administer medications and manage pain effectively for patients undergoing dialysis.
• Collaborate with nephrologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
• Perform necessary medical imaging as required for patient assessments.
• Provide ostomy care as needed for patients with ostomy needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology related to dialysis patients.
• Experience administering injections with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Knowledge of pain management techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with neonatal ventilator care is a plus for those working in specialized units.
• Experience in nursing home settings or memory care facilities is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in an outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care to patients outside of hospital environments.
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is beneficial for managing complex cases.

Pay: $2,700.00 - $2,800.00 per week
