The Role
This role focuses on effective provisioning, installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of plant-related systems and associated IT infrastructure at both local and remote facilities. It also involves second-level technical support, providing in-person, hands-on assistance to end users at the desktop level when needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sr. IT Business Analyst to identify, define, assess, document, and implement various initiatives while contributing to project management.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sr. IT Business Analyst to identify, define, assess, document, and implement various initiatives while contributing to project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project management, including identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, meetings, and required tasks.
- Provide support for plant-related systems and IT infrastructure, including installation, configuration, connectivity, interfaces, licensing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Maintain and support local networks (including wireless), phone systems, mobile devices, audio/video conferencing systems, and servers (e.g., file, print, and backup servers), as well as their associated operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Conduct in-person training, setup, and onboarding for new users.
- Analyze and document existing business processes to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Strong writing skills to create reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Exceptional customer service orientation, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical personnel in user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, probability, and statistical inference to practical scenarios.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
- Flexibility and adaptability as a service-oriented team player.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the IT team.
- Mandatory experience using Office 365.
- Experienced with Infrastructure and network tools such as Cisco, Global Protect, and Fortinet. (Nice to have).
- Enterprise environment experience. (Nice to have).
- Full-time job - 40h/week.
- Independent Contractor.
- On-site 5 days per week.
