As an Networking ASIC Engineer on the Infrastructure silicon team at Meta, you will be a key player in defining the networking architecture for the leading edge AI training and inference accelerators. Your primary focus will be on networking silicon architecture definition, modeling, performance analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Evangelize your innovative networking architectural solutions with your peers and leadership, while mentoring members of the architecture team. Collaborate with cross functional teams working on data center networking architecture, network system design, micro-architecture, RTL design, Design Verification, Firmware / Software development, Pre-Post silicon validation and Program Management to deliver first pass functional silicon.
ASIC Engineer, Networking Architecture Responsibilities
- Network Interface Card ASIC architecture owner of integrated and discrete NICs
- Lead the architecture specification for NICs for infrastructure silicon products collaborating with cross-functional partners
- Provide technical leadership in functional model development to enable networking firmware creation
- Provide technical leadership in networking cycle approximate model development, performance analysis and correlation with design implementation
- Define ASIC networking roadmap for integration in future generations of infrastructure AI accelerators working with data center network planning teams
- Identify and collaborate on performance studies for networks in production topologies
