Meta is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join the Legal department’s corporate team. This role requires operating independently in a fast-paced environment and working proactively with various teams across the organization, including executive operations, human resources, finance, investor relations, and corporate communications.
Associate General Counsel, Corporate Responsibilities
- Advise on complex securities law compliance and disclosure matters, with emphasis on disclosure controls and procedures, metrics reporting, executive compensation and perquisites, and capital markets.
- Work with cross-functional teams to build and enhance internal processes.
- Assist with preparation of SEC and other corporate regulatory filings, including proxy statements and reports on Forms 10-K / Q.
- Assist in corporate governance matters, including oversight of corporate policies and preparation of board and committee materials, with emphasis on compensation-related matters.
- Coordinate with and manage outside corporate counsel.
- Distill complex legal matters into actionable advice.
