What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Center Energy Analyst position at META?
Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative services. Meta is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and self-motivated individual to perform advanced energy analytics, and produce scalable analytic tools for our growing fleet of data centers and clean energy portfolio. In this role, you will be a key contributor to Meta’s data center energy strategy and your responsibilities will include :
- Tracking and forecasting data center energy usage and cost.
- Performing sensitivity and scenario analyses.
- Monitoring US energy market trends.
- Helping drive the development and deployment of Meta’s global energy strategy.
- Creating a cost competitive clean and renewable energy based supply portfolio.
- Becoming an expert on the energy rates and usage for Meta’s growing portfolio of data centers.
