Meta is seeking a Demand Manager to lead and optimize our infrastructure equipment demand planning within the Infra Supply Chain and Engineering (ISCE) Organization. As a Infrastructure Data Center Demand Manager, you'll be responsible for developing close partnerships internally and externally to build mid-to-long range demand outlooks to inform business strategy and execution. You will apply your technical expertise in infrastructure and data center build/deployment, coupled with advanced analytics and forecasting capabilities. This role presents an opportunity for a technically adept individual to drive supply chain initiatives in Data Center equipment for AI capacity delivery and significantly impact the performance of our operations.

Demand Manager, Infrastructure Data Center Responsibilities:
- Develop close partnerships with the Design, Engineering, and Construction (DEC), Sourcing, and Finance teams to build the mid-to-long term demand outlook.
- Develop and manage an optimized supply plan to support build out of new and leased data centers as well as retrofits. Work closely with the global supply chain team to understand supplier capacity, and material availability to inform upstream planning. Make informed trade-off decisions when operating in limited resource environments to source a reliable supply plan.
- Develop and build forecasting models and related strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams that incorporate cost optimization, capacity deployment needs, engineering feedback, and equipment fungibility. Develop what-if planning models (flexibility simulator) and planning systems for demand (Oracle).
- Build and utilize planning software to manage supply chain processes. Collaborate with our Enterprise Products and Analytics teams to continually enhance our automation efforts, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in our supply chain operations.
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify cost reduction opportunities. This includes strategies such as equipment optimization and reallocation strategies, excess & obsolescence reduction, and informing statistically planned safety stock strategies.
- Communicate the demand plan across the organization, including up to the leadership level and across various cross-functional teams, ensuring a clear understanding of demand needs and potential implications.
- Drive the IBP/S&OP cycle, ensuring that it aligns with overall business objectives and maintaining a seamless process from start to end.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business (operations, supply chain, finance, economics), engineering, or supply chain management.
- 4 years of experience in supply chain-related roles. Demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning experience.
- Knowledge of DC Construction with core understanding of planning and BOM dependencies, including design and regional dependencies.
- Technical knowledge of comprehensive demand forecasting approaches and supply chain demand planning.
- Advanced demand planning / ERP systems design and usage (O9/SAP/Oracle).
- Master Data management / Planning and Procurement BOM management.
- Core understanding (and driver) of the Integrated Business Planning process.
- Basic coding skills (Apps Script, SQL).
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Masters in Supply Chain.
- 6 years of experience in supply chain-related roles. Demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning experience.
- Experience in hyper-scale technology.
- Process/system background and proven experience to rapidly understand, use and drive improvements in new processes/systems.
- Experience in solver based systems.
- Detailed knowledge of data center infrastructure equipment and technologies.
