The Wrist Wearables team is searching for an Electrical Engineering Intern to shape the future of neural input wrist wearables. You'll explore reliable methods for on / off wrist detection and tightness measurement . You'll design innovative circuits for wrist wearables, explore reliable methods for on / off wrist detection, tightness measurement, analyze trade-offs, investigate and implement hardware solutions, explore algorithms for on-off wrist detection and tightness measurement. You'll evaluate different approaches to identify the most effective and reliable methods for both current and next-generation designs to guide the development of next-generation wearable technologies. This role offers hands-on experience in circuit design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the chance to impact the future of wearable tech. Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
Electrical Engineer Intern (Masters / PhD) Responsibilities
- Become familiar with EMG Wristband architecture, hardware design.
- Deep dive into operational theory of circuits, power electronics, and / or signal integrity
- Develop test plans, execute validation, and publish findings to team
- Partner with team peers for development of a new module
