Interactive VR Producer

Facebook Reality Labs is exploring the potential of virtual and augmented reality to bring people together in new ways. We are designing technologies that help people to create, share meaningful moments, and build communities using the unique qualities of these immersive new mediums. We aim to develop experiences that put people first, defining a future where virtual reality enables us to connect with the people and content we care about like never before. We’re seeking an Interactive Virtual Reality Producer to take our media experiences in Horizon Worlds to the next level. The Producer will be responsible for leading our interactive development, overseeing production, game design, tracking and execution of projects from ideation to launch. The candidate will also be the Media team’s subject matter expert around retentive core loops and physics. Candidates will be expected to work across various teams, external partners and talent to ensure experiences are executed upon according to plan. This will entail tracking the production plan from initial scoping, through to post-mortems.The ideal candidate is an experienced game/interactive producer and has a background in interactive production.

Interactive VR Producer Responsibilities:

• Produces end to end Horizon Worlds and VR/MR apps with a focus on interactivity and game design elements.
• Media Content team's subject matter expert of gaming elements across all interactive projects.
• Maximizes the efficiency of the production process, ensuring all involved parties have the necessary information and resources, and work to improve the process for future experiences.
• Drives deadlines and deliverables for each component of the project ensuring timelines are met.
• Works seamlessly across internal cross-functional teams and external talent/developers to ensure interactive experiences have the support to be successful.
• Executes on end to end interactive experiences in Horizon and Quest store.
• Uses personal and professional network to find opportunities for interactive media experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7 years experience working in games or interactive experiences
• Working knowledge of the game development cycle and have been through at least one full cycle of game development
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineers and designers
• Project management experience
• Proven flexibility in an ever changing landscape
• Proven proactive, self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented

• 1 years working with virtual reality
